Stan Oparka - Drums & Backing Vocals

Originally from Southwest Chicago, Stan honed his talent between stints in Orlando (FL) and L.A. before finally settling down in the Central WI area with his wife, Sue. As an avid drummer, Stan has had the pleasure of working with many talented musicians in bands such as Tornado Action, Avedis, and The Sarah Hollister Band, to name just a few. In fact, during his gig with The Sarah Hollister Band, they placed 3rd at The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

Stan's influences range from Queens Of The Stone Age to Led Zeppelin, with Judas Priest, Cheap Trick, UFO and Black Sabbath thrown in for good measure, all giving him a powerful foundation for quite an unique drumming style. This style and his talent are a big part of The F.I.B.s sound and their power.
